New Haven Line Service Alert:
New Haven Line Service Plan for Monday, May 20 until further notice. See details. Travel times will be significantly longer and trains will be crowded. Customers should stagger their work schedule or seek alternative means of travel to get to work. Be sure to listen for announcements at your station.

Metro-North train service for Sunday, May 19, will remain suspended between South Norwalk and New Haven. Reduced, hourly service will operate between South Norwalk Station and Grand Central Terminal. Regular service will operate between Stamford and Grand Central Terminal. Regular service will be in effect on the New Canaan and Danbury Branches. Bus service will be in effect between Waterbury and Bridgeport with no train connections. Yankee game-day service will be in effect between Stamford and Yankees-E. 153rd Street Station. For train schedule information, please visit the schedules page or refer to the New Haven Line timetable. Customers should anticipate crowded trains due to the reduced service. If possible, customers are advised to use the Harlem Line as an alternative.
Waterbury Branch Busing Sat. May 18 & Sun. May 19: To accommodate necessary track work, bus service will replace train service between Waterbury and Bridgeport the weekend of May 18-19. Bus service will follow the April 7 train schedule. We regret any inconvenience you may experience due to this service change.
Wassaic Branch Busing: Buses will replace Wassaic Branch train service between 9 AM and 5 PM on weekdays, and between 8 AM and 3 PM on Sundays through June 2 for rock slope remediation. Buses operate in advance of the train schedule. The bus schedule is included in the April 7 timetable. See details.

Special Notice to Customers Using Grand Central North: Both escalators from the lower level to Grand Central North will be out of service for an extended period of time to accommodate major repair work. As an alternative, please use the elevators across from the escalators, or the stairs. You may also detour through the Main Concourse of Grand Central Terminal via the South end of the platform.
We regret any inconvenience you may experience as a result of these repairs.
