We're making critical structural repairs to the 111 St station
The 111 St J station is temporarily closed from Mon, Jan 14 at 5 AM until Summer 2019.
Customers, please use the following travel alternatives:
Subway
J skips 111 St; use nearby JZ stations at 104 St or 121 St.
Bus
Take the Q56 bus to/from 104 St and 121 St JZ stations; free transfer with MetroCard.
Additional free transfers with MetroCard are available between the Q37, Q56, and the subway at 104 St, 121 St, or Woodhaven Blvd stations.
The Q56 runs with enhanced service between 111 St and 121 St.
What's happening?
We are replacing platforms and stairways, installing new canopies, roofing, windscreens, new lighting, tactile warning strips, rubbing boards, and making necessary structural upgrades to the station.
UPDATE: Service Restored to 111 St
Work at the 111 St J station is complete and service is restored as of June 11, 2019.
