Culver Line Signal Modernization: Alternate Service Options

Alternate subway and bus options can connect you to make your trip on weekends. Going to Coney Island from Manhattan, other parts of Brooklyn or Queens? Start your trip on an alternative subway line. 

Service on other subway lines will change based on other projects happening in the system. Use the MYmta app or visit our homepage to plan your trip. Look for posted signs along the  line. Service overview

Here's an overview of service changes occurring most weekends, from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, through the end of 2023.

  • The will operate between Jamaica-179 St and Church Av, the last stop.
  • The won’t operate between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av.
  • ttt will run local most weekends along Fourth Av between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and 36 St, providing transfer to/from the  at 4 Av-9 St.

 

Subway options to Coney Island

 and trains also run to Coney Island-Stillwell Av. Here are some key transfer points to be mindful of so you can get on the right train before service ends at Church Av.
