Culver Line Signal Modernization: Alternate Service Options

Alternate subway and bus options can connect you to make your trip on weekends. Going to Coney Island from Manhattan, other parts of Brooklyn or Queens? Start your trip on an alternative subway line.

Service on other subway lines will change based on other projects happening in the system. For specific and real-time service information about each weekend, use our Planned Work tool.

Service overview

Here's an overview of service changes from ~9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, weekends from May 22-26 through July 24-27*:

  • The F will operate all weekends between 179 St and Church Av, where F service will end
  • The F won’t operate south of Church Av, from Church Av to Coney Island-Stillwell Av
  • N will run local on 4 Av most weekends between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and 59 St, providing F transfer at 4 Av-9 St

*We are working a total of 10 weekends. If weather conditions don't permit work, F service will run normally that weekend and we will reschedule the work for another weekend.
