Bannerman's Castle looks like a medieval ruin somewhere in Europe, but this castle belonged to Frank Bannerman, who purchased the Hudson River's Pollepel Island in 1900 to store an inventory of surplus military equipment. A fire destroyed the buildings two years later, but their ruins remain offering rich history and panoramic views of the Hudson Valley. See what's on this week on the Island.
