Port Jervis Line Weekday Off-Peak Busing September 13-October 8

Updated September 13, 2021 1:30 p.m.

With infrastructure work progressing more quickly than anticipated, weekday, off-peak busing is now scheduled to operate through October 8, a week earlier than previously scheduled.

Connecting bus service will operate between all stations and Ramsey/Route 17, where transfers will be made between the bus and the train. Express buses will operate between Ramsey/Route 17 and all stations except Otisville and Salisbury Mills.

Busing at Otisville and Salisbury Mills will be a local service only, and travel times will be as much as 60 minutes longer; customers at Otisville and Salisbury Mills may wish to use a nearby station for faster service.

Please see the service schedule poster for more details.

The buses that make all stops from Port Jervis to Ramsay/Route 17 will be approximately 60 minutes slower and will connect with a New Jersey Transit Main/Bergen Line train an hour after the Metro-North Port Jervis Line train.

  • Local Bus 58, arriving Ramsey/Route 17 at 11:53 a.m., connects with NJ Transit train 1114 at noon and arriving Hoboken at 1:05 p.m.
