Starting on Monday, May 24, there will be no parking between South 11th Street and South 12th Street on both 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue, as work on the South 12th Street pedestrian underpass continues. We expect these parking spots to reopen by winter 2022. Parking will also be restricted along 3rd Avenue between Covert Avenue and South 12th Street, during sound wall construction.
As an alternative, a new metered parking lot recently opened at the eastern end of the westbound platform, between New Hyde Park Road and Herkomer Street.
