Oyster Bay Branch Service Change
On Monday and Tuesday, June 21 and 22, buses will substitute for morning and midday trains between Oyster Bay and Mineola as a track-testing program to ensure rail safety is performed.
Westbound customers
Board buses at stations Oyster Bay through East Williston and transfer to train service at Mineola. Buses will depart up to 30 minutes earlier than usual train times.
Eastbound customers
Board Ronkonkoma Branch or Port Jefferson Branch trains to Mineola; these trains will depart up to five minutes earlier than the usual Oyster Bay connecting trains from Penn Station. At Mineola, transfer to connecting bus service. Please plan for up to 30 minutes of additional travel time.
Note: The 7:37 AM train from Penn Station to Ronkonkoma will have an added stop at New Hyde Park to accommodate customers affected by this service change.
